According to the MEPCO spokesperson, on the 22nd of January, 2024, due to necessary maintenance, the supply of electricity will be suspended from the 66KV grid station Bahawalpur Road from 10 am to 2 pm. Consequently, consumers of the 11KV feeder Industrial Estate will face suspension of electricity.
Similarly, on the 23rd of January, 2024, from 9 am to 1 pm, due to work on the 132KV grid station Khanewal Road, consumers of the following feeders will face suspension of electricity: Feeders 1, 2, and 3 from Industrial Estate, and feeder Pak Arab Fertilizers.
On the 24th of January, 2024, from 9 am to 5 pm, due to installation work of new transformers at the 132KV grid station Makhdoom Rasheed, electricity supply will be suspended from the 11KV feeders Makhdoom Rasheed 1, 2, and 3.
On the 25th of January, 2024, from 9 am to 5 pm, due to necessary maintenance work at the 132KV grid station Vehari Road, the supply of electricity will be suspended from the feeders 15, 17, and 4 of the 132KV Vehari Road grid station.
The spokesperson further stated that on the 26th of January, 2024, due to replacement work of old conductors with new ones at the 132KV grid station Shah Rukn-e-Alam, consumers of the following feeders will face suspension of electricity: Feeders Mumtazabad 1, 2, Mumtazabad Industrial, Shah Rukn-e-Alam 1, 2, and 3.
MEPCO is determined to provide a load shedding schedule with an uninterrupted power supply to its consumers and is taking all necessary steps to improve the system. The inconvenience caused by the scheduled suspensions is regretted. Consumers are requested to cooperate during this period.
