SSGC initiated a gas bill campaign on January 2024 to bolster transparency and promote energy conservation. Hence the new educational drive provides detailed SSGC bills insight into the latest gas and electricity tariffs for household customers.

SSGC Launches New Gas Bill Campaigns

The Sui Northern gas bill campaign delineates the cost implications for ‘protected‘ and ‘non-protected‘ customers based on their monthly gas consumption. For instance, non-protected customers consuming 20 CMs can expect to see a bill amounting to Rs. 1,440/-, while protected customers with the same consumption will only be billed Rs. 650/-.

This tiered billing structure is part of SSGC’s strategy to incentivize lower gas usage, particularly during the high-demand winter months. Customers who manage to keep their consumption under 90 CMs can benefit from the protected category’s lower rates, aligning with SSGC’s commitment to promoting sustainable energy practices among its consumer base.

The campaign underscores the potential savings for consumers who adopt energy-saving measures, thereby shifting to the more economically advantageous protected category.
